When updating the ISM repository (export), reinforcement data is retained only for unchanged Structural members to preserve the ISM model integrity. That is, reinforcements are deleted for Structural members whose Structural section definitions are changed or are rotated using the Modify Structural Attributes (unified Modify Properties) tool. Similarly, if a slab or foundation element is resized via a modification tool (Fence Stretch) or edit handles, the reinforcements within are deleted when exporting them back to ISM.

However, reinforcements are not deleted for Structural members and elements which have been manipulated using manipulation tools such as Move Element, Copy Element and Rotate Element.
